Foreign artists in residence

Since 2017, La Galerie Centre for Contemporary Art in Noisy-le-Sec has been offering an annual three-month residency (April-July) to an artist from abroad.

La Galerie provides the artist with intellectual, logistical and financial support. The residency is intended to aid the creation of a body of work based on La Galerie’s theme for the year in question and relevant to the art centre’s locality.

The artist is invited to suggest innovative approaches to the exhibiting of the works produced during the residency.

Terms and conditions
Artist’s fee: 3000 €
Production costs: 3000 €
Travel expenses: 1 return trip

The artist’s accommodation is a furnished, rent-free 65-square metre studio/apartment in central Noisy-le-Sec. Noisy-le-Sec is 10 minutes from Paris on the RER E line.

Selection is carried out by La Galerie’s artistic direction team.
